Thread: Check your speed

If your computer feels slow you might have considered upgrading it, but it's often hard to know which parts to replace. If you have Vista, it can run tests and short you. Click Start, right-click Computer and choose Properties. Click the Windows Experience Index link, and Windows will show a series of scores, one for each part of the PC: if your PC has not been tested you will be asked to do so. Look for the parts with the lowest score: if they are far lower than the rest, upgrading these parts should give a speed boost.
