Thread: Add parental controls with Vista

Many companies sell parental control software, but Windows Vista has a powerful set of tools built in at no extra cost. To use them click Start then Control Panel
then' Set up parental controls for any user'. Select a user from the list and you'll be presented with options to limit web access and games, restrict access to the internet or to the entire PC, and to log computer activity.

Did you know there is also a Web-based program called Family Safety that’s part of the Windows Live suite? You can learn more about it here: downloaddotlivedotcom/familysafety (replace "dot" with a period ".")
You can use the Web interface to monitor your children on the internet and change settings, without even being in the same physical location.
