Thread: Extremely slow internet speed with Windows Vista.

Hi,
I was not encountering with any problem for a year or more with the internet at speed over a 5MB. For last 2 days it’s almost 50-200KB. I have also undergone with the advice on one of the threads here and other goggled tips:
- ad-ware
- Ccleaner
- cleaned registry
- put power settings to max nothing.
There is the same slow speed both with my Ethernet controller Marvell Yukon as well as with my wireless Intel Pro/wireless one.
Can anybody help me?

Try getting register at the DSL Report and then run their Line Quality Tests. It's the best for running this test with a direct wired connection for stopping any of the wireless problems from the results. It's also very useful for most of the times to run this test many times, and we'd like to see that each of the results. Post the results link from the top of the test display page for each test run here.

I actually had a trouble to become ping able. I’ve still put my job in the queue. Will it be serving something or not? If not able to know how it become ping able?
