I bought a new Dell laptop SX13 last March and it has been freezing up and crashing occasionally. I restored it a number of times and even reloaded from the factory install partition and it still kept back acting up. Lastly I resorted to contact Dell support (I know I'm not the only one who fight with a problem for months before contacting the help line) and they thought there was a ruined windows file that ought to be damaged on the factory install. After several hours reinstalling Vista and upgrading all the drivers the systems emerge to be steady. Of course I can not at all reload from the factory partition and reloading the way the support individual did does not seem like a sensible effort for a sane person. So, what I want to do first is to generate an image backup so I can repair to this point if I need to. I have Vista Home premium so it didn't appear with image backup.
Can someone advise a good product? Does also Roxio or Nero include good image backup for Vista?
