IN Windows, one can use the multiple selection option by holding [ctrl] and clicking the required items. As an efficient alternative, you can turn on the checkbox selection option which would display a checkbox next to an icon or a folder each time you hover your mouse cursor over it. To do so, follow the steps below.
- Double-click the 'My Computer' desktop icon.
- Click 'Organize' and select the 'Folder and Search options' option.
- You will now be able to view the 'Folder Options' dialog box.
- Click the 'View' tab.
- Select the 'Use checkboxes to select items' checkbox.
- Click 'OK' to save the changes.
