IF you are bored with the normal folder appearance and if you want to enhance your Windows browsing experience, you car\add a picture to the folder icon. This would even make it easier for to recognize a folder even when it is placed with several other folders within a drive.

By default, if a folder contains a video or pictures, it would randomly display a picture from the folder. To customize it as per your need, follow the steps as mentioned below:

Right-click an appropriate folder and select 'Properties'.

Click the 'Customize' tab.

Click the 'Choose File' button and browse for an appropriate file. Click 'OK' to save the changes.

To remove the picture, click the 'Restore Default' button.
