    Default Strange problem during login

I have a trouble with all vista laptop in our association. The laptops are connected to our w2k3 domain as well as if the users shut the laptop down, take it home as well as log in with their cached domain credentials, it will sit there at the welcome screen for an indefinite period. I have let it sit there for at least an hour numerous times during my trouble shooting. But during that time, doing a hard reset on the laptop as well as logging on with a local user account, the laptops will log in with that local user as well as come up just very well. Also if during the initial first power up at home if I choose F8 and boot into safe mode +networking I can log in with the domain user account without any troubles. Then the users can also restart the laptop or log off of that user as well as log in with their domain user accounts. I have searched high as well as low for an answer to no avail. I am just about ready to cough up the cash and call Microsoft that is how desperate I am! I have users loosing productivity because of this and the boss's are getting ticked! Please help!!!

Please undertake the subsequent to narrow down the problem:

    1. Restart the system to “Clean Boot” setting to confirm if there is any inconsistency.

    Clean boot

    1) Click the Start Button type "msconfig" (without quotation marks) in the Search box, and afterward press Enter.

Note: If encouraged, please click Continue on the User Account Control (UAC) window.

    2) Click the "Services" tab, confirm the "Hide All Microsoft Services" box as well as click "Disable All" (if it is not gray).

    3) Click the "Startup" tab, click "Disable All" also click "OK".

Then, reboot the PC. When the "System Configuration Utility" window appears, please confirm the "Don't show this message or launch the System Configuration Utility when Windows starts" box furthermore click OK.

NOTE: we can go reverse to normal boot by running msconfig again as well as checking on Normal Startup in the General tab.

In the Clean Boot Environment, the third party services as well as applications are disabled; please confirm if the problem reoccurs at this moment.

If the trouble does not arise, it point out that the trouble is linked to one application or service we have disabled. You might make use of the MSCONFIG tool again to re-enable the disabled item one by one to get out the reason.

    2. For the time being eliminate all the security software (firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware, etc.) on the Windows Vista client as well as confirm if it works to make out if this problem is disappeared.

    Hope this helps. Thanks.
