I got an Acer AL1916W LCD monitor (not including DVI) that runs local 1440x900. In vista home premium 64 bit I only get 1360x768 to run. How to get the complete 1440 X 900 resolution because it looks very weird please help me?

You should first of all confirm your video card settings?
Im not sure if it makes a difference but I have vista premium 32bit. And I have it set to 1440x900
Which graphic card are you using? With NVidia, you can assemble your own custom settings don't know if it'll work with Vista though.
The whole thing can be controlled by the NVidia control panel. I also have Vista X64 as well as running my 22" LCD at 1440 x 900 by means of DVI.
