Thread: Desktop Folder views not saving

I have only one thing on my desktop, which is a "Tools" folder, and all so often, the views reset to folders first, then apps, in alphabetical order. I've situate the folder options to "Remember folder views" as well as it still doesn't save. It's not a huge deal, presently in fact irritating, because the way I arrange the whole thing is much easier to access, then by chance, windows resets the folder view... Thanks in advance

You can apply the download in method two of the tutorial under to rearrange the folder view settings to have Vista consider the folder view settings of a folder window as they were when it was last closed.
