Thread: I Have Windows Vista Home Premium, but NO AERO

I have Windows Home premium. For some reason, Aero all of a sudden vanished. I was able to make use of Aero's thumbnail effect as well as its transparency effect. Then, a hardly any days ago it just unexpectedly stopped, and yes, I meet up all requirements for Aero. It's like, this, when I look for Aero on the personalization thing, it's not there; generally Aero is on top, but instead Windows Vista Basic on it. Any reasons? I did make use of Spybot -Search and Destroy, as well as CCleaner. I don't believe those would screw up Aero. My system info is:


Windows Vista Home Premium
Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2200 @ 2.20GHz
3.00 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 7100/ NVIDIA nForce 630i

So yeah, I have no idea why it's gone , also I downloaded a game called Ether Saga, but that doesn't matter also because I was still capable to make use of the thumbnail effect for Aero.

Anyhow I did not do a system restore or whatever likes cleanup or something, it just vanished; does windows Home Premium only have like a 10 month trial for Aero or something?

1.Right-click an empty space on your desktop and select Personalize.
2.Click Window Color and Appearance in the Personalization window.
3.Click Open classic appearance properties for more color options.
4.Select Windows Vista Aero under Color Scheme.
