Thread: IE will not open page

IE just hangs when I try to open any website. I've rebooted, can ping sites in dos with no packet loss. Have disabled firewall and AV and neither has helped.

It's a desktop hard connected to a router, the other pc's in the home work fine.

Check your browser add ons. Clear out all not needed, empty the browser temp history ect cant say if it will help i ran into a site that said to do those things for a sluggish browser.

My advice would be to try and get a copy of adaware or malwarebytes I think that’s what it’s called and also get an installer for IE so if you need to you can reinstall IE.
