Thread: Vista 64 bit files

I have 2 windows old files are these safe to delete to free up space? Also, what is the program x 86 files? I was installing a game and it wanted to put it into that folder. I’m in the learning stage with the 64 bit system.

All 32-bit programs will install to Program Files (x86). This is how 64-bit Windows differentiates between 64-bit programs and 32-bit programs.
