Default How to solve Blue Screen Page Fault Error Modem?

Blue Screen Page Fault Error Modem?

I can't boot my computer up keep getting the blue screen. I have tried every option in safe mode screen and recovery with HD recovery option. I have had a problem with my Broadcom wireless modem dropping signal and cutting out. I updated the driver and finally found a old driver that worked the best. I usually just restart my computer a couple of times and it goes away. Until this time I kept restarting and shutting down a dozen times and finally the blue screen came up. I even removed the modem to see if it was a hardware error. I don't have a recovery disc so I will have to order one if that will help. It uses Phoenix Bios and doesn't have a option for advanced features.

The main thing I care about on the laptop is all my music so that is what I am trying to save. I could keep going on and on about things I tried. Any help or ideas is very much appreciated.

    Thanks so much

What do the first and third paragraphs say on the BSOD, the errors them self can sometimes prove to be helpful in finding a resolution.

When you start into Windows Advanced Options, did you try choosing Last Known Good Configuration? Additionally, you said you tried every option in Safe Mode, more importantly, was it able to boot into Safe Mode?

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

    PAGE_FAULT_IN-NONPAGED_AREA

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart the your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need. If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup options, and then select safe mode.

    Technical information:

    :STOP: 0.00000050 (0x8A600000, 0x00000001, 0x8F8834F3, 0x00000000

I can't boot in safe or any other advanced options including: Repair You Computer, Safe Modes ect.

    Thanks for the information.

This sort of error generally points to a Hardware problem, specifically, memory issues. Have you attached any sort of flash card or camera recently? If there is one connected i would suggest removing it for the moment. Generally when I've seen this error in the past though it was because of issues concerning RAM, so if it's something you are familiar with, it may be worth while attempting to remove and use a process of elimination on each RAM stick e.g. remove all sticks, and try booting with one at a time.

    Good luck,
