Default Programs NOT responding, How to solve it?

    Programs NOT responding?

This is so weird. One, I have Windows Vista Home Premium. Two, in Problem Reports and Solutions it says "Windows Vista Problem found" and when I click on it doesn't load.

At first I thought it was some problem with the computer connecting to a network, but I can’t see for sure because that won’t even load. And now I'm thinking it's an error related to the Operating System, driver or another component. But it’s something. I've tried going to Windows Update in Control Panel, but that wont load either. I've tried Windows Help and Support, but when I click on a link to help it won’t load anything.

I've tried this link: http://example.com/kb/933305 um, not helping? I tried Task Manager, but I don’t get what I can do with that to fix the issue. I’ve called HP & Microsoft, but no help seems to be given.
I've tried system restoration. I've tried restarting my computer. This is just what it says when I open up a program: "The application is not responding. The program may respond again if you wait. Do you want to end this process?" My computer has 335 GB free; it’s a PC - Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1. 32-bit Operating System.

It simply doesn't load almost any program I have on this computer now. How am I using an internet browser then? Well, I’m using Safe Mode for Firefox, and that's the only reason I can go on the internet. None of my programs are responding and I have no idea why? I know there's a solution out there, but I just can’t access it. Can someone please help me with this problem! Update/ Recently Firebox are now working in normal mode, but other installed programs are not at all working anymore. Every single installed program works in Safe Mode though.

    SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!

To run the Windows Vista System File Checker in safe mode:
Open the 'start' menu. Type 'cmd' in the search bar, do NOT press ENTER. Right click on the 'cmd' executable file in the search results and choose 'run as administrator'.

When the administrative window opens, type the following:
SFC /scan now and press ENTER. Windows Vista will begin checking all essential system files and making repairs when necessary. This may take quite a while, and you may be required to insert your Windows Vista installation disk.
