Default How to find Destination Folder Access denied

    Destination Folder Access denied

    Computer\Local Disk(C)
    Per flogs
    Programs Files
    Program Files(x86)
    Users
    Windows
    BOOTSECT.Bac

I should not have a Folder listed Program Files(x86) considering when i did my windows vista ultimate update I chose 64 bits not 86. I tried to get rid of it but it keeps telling me Destination Folder Access denied I have VAC Turned Off due to my program Sly soft Any DVD .It resorts in problems if I have it turn on. But surely that isn’t the problem; anybody knows how to follow through with the delete.

If you are running a 64 bit OS version then you should have a Program Files (x86) folder. This is where 32 bit programs are installed. Many applications and Windows components are still 32 bit even on a 64 bit platform. Such as Adobe Reader, MS Office, Windows Mail, Windows Sidebar.

So you are saying that you cannot access any of the listed folders?
This could mean that you do not have the correct permissions.
Right click on each one of the folders you listed and select 'properties'
open the 'Security' tab from the 'Properties' window.
Look for your user account and click 'Edit'
Check the 'Full Control' check box.

You can also do this better through ICACLS in DOS.
