Suppose you have copied somewhat to the clipboard that you do not require to depart there in case somebody else is going to employ your PC. What will you do? Certainly you can copy something besides to the clipboard real quick, but will not be able to you just make a shortcut or hotkey to remove it?
And certainly you will, with the in-built clip.exe function in Windows 7 or Vista. It’s not actually intended for removing the clipboard, but with a small command line wonder in a shortcut, we can create it that way.
Create a Shortcut Icon to Clear the Clipboard
Right click by mouse on the desktop screen or somewhere else, and select New - Shortcut from the menu.
After that Enter the below command in the shortcut location box:
cmd /c “echo off | clip”
Now at this point you will have an symbol that will instantaneously remove the clipboard… but we will be able to tweak it a bit more.
