If you are running a home PC for gaming or something irrelevant, you might not want to have to log in each time you restart PC. There is a simple tweak that will allow you autologin.

Firstly we need to obtain Advanced User Accounts Control Panel to get to this setting. I think there’s a registry twist as well, but that look like too much work.

Types in control userpasswords2 into the start menu search box, press enter, and you get screen shown below:

Uncheck the box “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer”, and press Apply. You get a username and password box. Enter in the proper information here and press OK:
