Default Blocking Spam from international Senders in Windows Vista Mail:

To block all that spam from being hit by your mailbox, open the mail and go to the Tools \ S Junk Mail Options item. Click on the "International tab and you will see the following window:

There are two separate methods that you can block international spam: firstly, you can block domains to choose them here. If you select all the options, you should be warned that. The United States also in this list.

You can also choose to block messages encodings. I blocked all Asian encoding the message, because I definitely can not read these languages, and about 1/10th of the spam I receive these days is encoded in one of these types. Again, be cautious to do choose all option, or you will end up blocking all messages from all.

I don’t use the Windows Mail client that comes with Windows Vista, but while I was searching how to use it to access my Gmail locally, I found a good option in the Junk Email Options pane.

I get the large amount of spam. Since I don’t have any friends that live in other countries, I m not interested to see this kind of mail.
To block this kind of spam, open Windows Mail and go to the Tools \ Junk Mail Options item. Click the International tab, and you get this screen:

If you do the choose All option, you should be warned that .US is also in that list.

You can also do the block message encodings. I blocked all of the Asian message encodings, because I can’t read that languages. Be alert about doing the Select All option or you will end up blocking all email from everyone.
