In earlier versions of Windows, you had to use Ctrl + Alt + Delete combination Login. This was supposed to provide greater security Login, though we do not know how to do it. You also might be used to use that combination Login, and there is a way to turn it back.
Open Advanced User Accounts panel by entering in the search field netplwiz in the Start menu, and press ENTER. After that click the Advanced tab, and you will observe the following:
Just check the box, and the next time you login, you will see the old recognizable prompt.
Update
For a way that works all the time, type in secpol.msc into the start menu search box and then navigate to Local Policies \ Security Options.

Find the setting for “Interactive Logon: Do not display last user name” and change it to enable.
