Software will function for two hours
According to Microsoft, the software will operate on the user's computer for two hours just to retrieve the data. This option will not work after a short time later. Testers can upgrade to any version of Windows, what they want. But, we must choose the same language as a trial version available.
Microsoft says it thinks almost every one the testing and beta users have moved to the final version of Windows Vista, where they were using test or beta version of Windows Vista.
Beta version reboots after every two hours
As mentioned above, the beta version of the operating system restarts after every two hours after the deadline for the license expires. This can cause data loss. The company has issued notices to users of Vista Ultimate Beta 2, Release Candidate 1 (RC1), and Release Candidate 2 (RC2) on this end.
There are numerous upgrade paths available for testers of Beta 1 and beta 2. Windows Vista is available in five different versions. The five different versions are Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, Enterprise and last. However, the upgrade path, which can retain the settings, applications and data are from Vista RC1, which needs a copy of Vista Ultimate Upgrade. The Beta 2 and RC2 can be upgradeable to Vista Ultimate, but you have to do a clean install. This, of course, deletes the contents of hard disk deletes all data contained therein. All users can upgrade to a different preview version of Vista, making a clean install using an upgrade option from the appropriate version.
Either roll back to Older Windows Version like XP, 2000 or pay & Upgrade to Windows Vista
One can also return to some earlier versions of Windows, like Windows XP or Windows 2000, etc. However, when someone does this, you should remember that some of the features he liked with Vista beta or RC versions not available in previous versions of Windows.
Microsoft has warned users of the test version of Vista from some serious problems. The company has made it clear that require to obtain the latest version of Windows Vista, and one may want to do a clean install when the full version is available. The company also informs to backup all data on your computer before installing Windows Vista.
No advantage to Beta testers
In my opinion, the strategy will put the company into a black spot as harsh decision might harm the interest in the verification of testers, with the risk that resources computer system hardware. Of course, every company should work towards the achievement of income. Hopefully, Microsoft has reversed its decision and gives the RC and beta testers, the software operating system with the lowest minimum.
