Thread: Windows 7 ultimate 64-bit edition

I was just at a meeting with my programming class, and after waiting for windows 7 booth for a while they gave us free copies of windows 7 ultimate. For some reason only 32-bit disc was integrated. With product key, is there anyway I can download 64-bit version of Microsoft website? Is there any way that I can obtain it? Help is appreciated.

For free? It is possibly a special, restricted license which is why they gave it out for free. The student editions also only come in either 32-bit or 64-bit, but both are not included on one disk.

It truly is a full version, in a package same to one you buy, only it says 'not for retail'. Its full ultimate version, and links at both assured it. They said that both 32 and 64 bit versions were included, but 64-bit version was not in spot where it was meant to be. So there's no possibility that I can use my product key to download 64-bit ultimate off the internet?

There is no place to download Windows 7 from Internet without buying license. The "Not for Retail" label is a good sign it is not full retail version that contains both 32-bit and 64-bit.
