Thread: My Computer will not shut down resolution

My PC has been immovable in final blue screen that says "Windows is shutting down..." for a 8 hours or so. I have tried all, pressing cntrl+alt+delete, F1+F5, all of F keys, pushing stack login/shutdown button and monitor login/shutdown button. I am not at house, but I know that it is a 2007 HP flat screen PC and it has Windows XP 2007. Last night my PC stopped responding when it was playing a song in my Limewire. My PC has been acting up as I have been using LimeWire and ITunes.

Thus, when task manager stopped reacting and would not close after I pressed cntrl+alt+delete, I pressed bottom button on stack for shut down. This worked, but then screen continued in blue "shutting down..." screen. This morning, I pressed shutdown button for monitor, who made monitor screen black, but I know that stack is still turned on, because button is blue, and it is still buzzing.

Your problem happen may be because of limewire - P2P - which may be used for illegitimate copy of copyright matter and also has many malware and virus on. We do not support P2P here.
