Start Windows XP, install and run VistaBootPro. Go to Manage OS Entries and then choose Microsoft Windows Vista entry. Tick on Delete button and verify that you want to delete Windows Vista from BCD Registry.
The Computer Management tool will open. Then choose Disk Management. You will see a list with all your partitions. Select partition where you have installed Windows Vista, right tick on it and select Format.
In Format window you can type the new name you want to set for this partition. Also you can modify other settings like file system or allocation unit size. We suggest you to utilize default settings for both and press OK button.
If you do not want to wait for too long, you can always do a quick format. Just test the Perform a quick format box and press OK.
The formatting procedure can take from some seconds up to some minutes. The duration based on a lot on size of partition and type of formatting. When done, you will no longer have Windows Vista installed on your system.
