IT'S a good practice to keep track of all the drivers installed on your system. But the task is not only strenuous but also cumbersome. To generate a list of installed drivers, one can pick any freeware utilities that are available as downloads across the Internet. But if your system doesn't have an Internet connection or you are using a proxy server, you might find it a bit difficult to install such application. Instead, you can generate a list of installed drivers through the command prompt. Let's take a look at how to go about it.
Click 'Start', type 'cmd' in the
'Search' box and press [Enter].
On the command prompt, type 'driverquery' and press [Enter].
You will now be able to view a list of drivers that are currently installed on your system.
To save this output to a file, type 'driverquery > filename.txt' and press [Enter] in your command prompt window.
