A Media Access Control, or MAC, address is a unique locater related with network adapters like Ethernet, wireless or Bluetooth devices. Similar to an IP address, the MAC address is unique to the particular hardware and is assigned by the producer. However, it does not differ or change like IP address. • Click "Start".

• In "Search", enter 'cmd' to open a command prompt.

• In command window, enter 'getmac'.

• In the category mentioned "physical address" are all MAC addresses related with the network devices installed on the laptop.

Follow these steps to find the MAC address:
1.Select Control Panel from the Start menu, and after that open the Control Panel's Network and Sharing Center.
2.Click the link labeled View Status by the connection you would like to examine.

3.Click the Details button.
A Network Connection Details dialog box come out. Place the item labeled Physical Address, which is the MAC Address number.
