Open the "Start" >> search bar >> type "Disk Cleanup”. Choose the drive you would like to "clean" by using the drop-down menu, and after that select the types of files you want to remove. Once again Open the "Start" >> search bar >> type "Disk Defragmenter". Click the file that appears to initiate the defragmentation. Once again Open the "Start">> search bar>> type "Msconfig". Click the file that appears to have access to Microsoft Options menu. Select the tab for "startup" programs, and after that to select the box that says "Disable All." This will tell your computer to not preload files as the computer loads, reducing startup time and improved performance.
