Vista Complete PC Backup is integral utility with particular editions of Vista that permit to save data there on PC, securing it against threat of data loss. Windows XP Professional has similar feature that performs similar task, below different name Backup Utility. Using Backup Utility added with Windows XP Professional will give you similar level of safety as Complete PC Backup contained with Vista.

Instructions

Step 1

Go to "Start", click "All Programs", "Accessories" and open "System Tools" folder.

Step 2

Click "Backup."

Step 3

Choose option to "Back Up Files and Settings."

Step 4

Check off the box to back up "All in order on this Computer."

Step 5

Give place to save backup files, whether on hard drive, CD or DVD, or USB drive.

Step 6

Click "Finish" to finish procedure and start backing up data.
