Thread: Epson driver problem on Vista

I installed Epson SX105 on my Vista. I installed it using CD that is with printer and also download new driver but nothing happen. My printer shows in device manager with question mark next to it. When right click on it, install automatic or manual doesn’t work. So please help me to solve my problem.

I think Windows installation is damage and it produces clash during installation of printer. So try to install printer in safe mode. This decreases amount of clash and check that you have correct driver.

Problem is that filing of drivers for Vista has damaged version of printer driver, version has been installed by CD, which explains why not try has worked transfer. This occurs when drivers badly made are unable to uninstall appropriately, particularly as Epson does, driver is not made for Vista, but it is driver for XP.
