    Default Vista recovery partition mistakenly formatted

    My hp pavilion dv4 laptop the recovery drive gets formatted by my friend mistakenly this makes any problem in my laptop. Pease help me to solve this problem.

    It's only a problem if you need to reinstall your operating system at any time. Not much you can do about it, though you may be able to contact HP & ask about the cost of recovery disks for your laptop, that way you don't need the recovery partition.
