Thread: Activesync not installing on Vista

I attempt to install Active sync on Vista PC but it shows "ActiveSync cannot be installed on Windows Vista". So please help me to solve this error as early as possible. Any help will be appreciated.

If synchronization settings handled through Windows Mobile Device Center rather than Activesync. Only some software clearly searches for ActiveSync. Many just use call to installer service. I have some Pocket PC around and none of software I tried to install shown problem and worked well with Vista and WMDC. So install Windows Mobile Device Center. Then restart PC and Sync Center will auto start, and permit connection to DMA in “Windows Mobile Device Center -> Connection Settings”
