Thread: Application problem in Vista

Nowadays my PC is showing error as Application Not Found Error for Vista and similar error shows for many programs. Now with Firefox when I try to open it shows problem and doesn’t proceed with it. So please help me to solve this problem.

If Mozilla is not default browser and attempt to run similar again. Also ensure that you are running application from shortcut. If yes then delete shortcut and recreate it.

To set Mozilla as default browser do the steps given below.

• Go to start, Click Control Panel

• Go to Network & Internet, Click Internet Options.

• Open Programs tab, Check whether Mozilla Firefox is set as default or not.

• Unchecked if internet explorer is set

• Now Start Mozilla and prompt for setting it default

• Click OK

I think installation of application got damaged so you must run System File Checker which detect System for damage installation and if found any then solve it. To run then System File Checker first open command prompts and type sfc/Scannow in it and presses enter.
