Thread: No sound in Vista

I am having Windows Vista operating system. I am installing some updates. After upgrading the system my sound no longer works. When I take my arrow over the sound icon it says no drivers installed for this device. Please help me to get rid of this problem. Thanks in Advance.

Here are solution using this method you can try to restore your sound:

a. Go to Start then Right click on Computer

b. choose Manage >>choose Device Manager

c. Expand the entry titled: Sound, video and game controllers

d. Right click you sound device

e. choose Update Driver

f. Restart your computer when the driver has installed successfully.
