Thread: Disable the Sidebar in transom vista

I am having the desktop machine which has the Windows vista operating system. I want to disable the sidebar because it will take lots of space. If anybody knows any way that I can disable sidebar then please let me know that it is appreciated.

For disabling the sidebar in Windows Vista, just follow these simple steps.

• Right-click the sidebar icon placed near the clock display in the taskbar.

• Choose the ‘Properties’ option.

• Uncheck the ‘Start Sidebar when Windows start’ checkbox.

• Click ‘Apply’ and after that click ‘OK’.

• To exit the sidebar, right-click the sidebar icon, click exit and in the transom that come outs, clear the ‘Start Sidebar when Windows starts’ checkbox and click ‘Exit Sidebar’.
Now, the sidebar would be disabled in your PC.
