    Default Unable to set the Read only property on a folder

    Hi everyone. I am having computer with windows Vista operating system. I have one query why I am not able to set the Read only property checkbox on a folder? Does somebody have an idea for a solution? Any help would be highly appreciated.

    According to me Folders do not have a read only property. Only files have a read only property. The read only checkbox is displayed in a folder's properties window to permit you to simply set the read only property of all the files inside of that folder. Even though the read only checkbox shows to be "checked", in fact in what is called the undefined state, signified by it containing a square block in place of a checkmark.
