In Windows Vista, when you generate a shortcut, an arrow on the shortcut icon is automatically added to give a visual pointer that the icon is a shortcut. If you want to decrease or increase the size of the arrow on the icons, you need to decrease or increase the on the whole size of the icons, for which you use a simple command.

Instructions:-

• Log into your Vista PC.

• Right-click on the PC desktop.

• Hit on the "View" option and then press on "Large Icons," "Medium Icons" or "Classic Icons" to change the size of the icons and the size of the arrows on shortcuts.
