Log in as an administrator. Open the Start menu, and then choose "Control Panel," "System and Maintenance" and "Administrative tools." Double-hit "Computer Management." Press "Disk Management" under Storage. Right-hit a section of the disk marked "Unallocated," and chooses "New Simple Volume." The New Simple Volume Wizard will emerge. Press "Next," enter the size of the partition you want to make and press "Next" again. Choose what letter name you desire to use for the partition, and then press "Next." If you do not desire to format the partition right away, press "Do not format this volume." Press "Next," and then press "Finish."
