Navigate, in order, to "Start," "Control Panel" and "User Accounts."

Press "Change Your Account Picture" under the "User Accounts" icon. The next window shows a thumbnail of the present avatar and the user name which it belongs. Below this thumbnail, Windows Vista shows a selection of preloaded avatars.

Eliminate the present avatar by choosing a different avatar from the "Change Your Picture" window. Choose "Browse for More images" to apply a picture to the account that is found elsewhere on the PC. This is impossible to delete a present avatar totally, only to eliminate it from sight with a different one. Press "Change Picture" to save changes.

You can also get control panel through run program. You will have to need to go in the start option and just type control panel, You will get control panel. So You would easily change the avtar. I wish that It could be very helpful.
