Open the browser. Go to the Content tab. Then press the button Delete Cookies and Delete Files. So, after closing the windows are still open, open the desktop, click the right mouse button on drive C: and choose Properties. Click the Disk Cleanup.

Every time you install or uninstall a program in Windows Vista they leave a bit of code in your Windows Vista registry. You could just go in and manually delete these left over bits of code. But, most people have no idea how to safely do this. Mess up your registry and you computer will no longer work right. There is a program I use to clean Windows Vista registry on a regular basis. I use ccleaner.com. Their program is a small download, about 3 mg, installs easy and is simple to use.
CCleaner does more than just clean Windows Vista registry, It will also look at IE and see if there is any security problems as well as clear out personal information that you may not even know you have saved. There are many other more advance options that the average Windows Vista user doesn't really need. But, If you are looking to clean Windows Vista registry I would recommend this product. Go to their website and download it. Follow the instructions and run it. Always save a copy of the Windows Vista registry before you clean. The program gives you the option to save right before you clean the registry.

Currently CCleaner only supports cleaning of the current user's account.I hope that they will change this because the progam is very helpful.Every time you install or uninstall a program in Windows Vista they leave a bit of code in your Windows Vista registry. You could just go in and manually delete these left over bits of code.
