Thread: Undock PC icon deficient on Vista

I have a computer which has Windows vista operating system. My Undock icon had gone missing from the start menu. I really want it back and I have tried several start menu styles but none of them worked out. If you are having any solution for that, then please provide that solution to me. I will be thankful to you.

Follow the steps given below:

1. Go to Start and type regedit in the search box and hit Enter.

2. Now browse the following :

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer

3. right side build a new Dword value by right clicking and name it as
NoStartMenuEjectPC

4. Right click the new value and select Modify.

• give 0 to show the Undock computer option. Remember, you should to type 1 to hide the undock button.

• Now close the registry and restart the PC.
