Thread: Disable Unnecessary services in Vista

I have installed vista on my computer. There are some services run automatically when we start PC, this all services are necessary. I want to disable this unnecessary service. Is there any method to disable them? If you are having the method to perform the same then let me know about it.

Follow these simple steps to stop unwanted services:-

a. Click on the Start button and Type services.msc in the search box

b. You might be prompted by a UAC box. Click continue to disable it here.

c. Right click a service, and select Stop to stop it instantly

d. For some services you are unable to stop it until after restart.

e. Just right click and select properties.

f. After that choose disable from the drop-down menu.
