Thread: Recycle Bin absent from desktop in Vista

I have computer system with windows vista operating system. By mistakenly I am deleting some my imp file. I want to recover this file using recycle bin. But now problem is I am not able to see Recycle Bin icon on the desktop. I have tried all the things but I am not success. Please let me know if there is any inbuilt method to overcome the issue.

Follow the steps given below:

• Right-click on blank screen, select Personalize

• Window Control Panel or Personalization emerges, click Change desktop icons

• In Desktop Icon Settings window, choose Section Recycle Bin

• Click OK to shut the window

You can easily restore its icon on desktop using following simple method:

• Right-click on Desktop and select "Personalize". It'll open Personalization window.

• Now click on "Change desktop icons".

• It'll open "Desktop Icon Settings" window as shown in following screenshot:

• Just enable "Recycle Bin" and apply it.

• Done!
