Thread: windows Vista can't Boot

I can not find my PC to boot .The computer run with the common options IE:choose F2 or F12 then it into Limbo the curser is flashing on the top left hand of the screen but it will not boot.

If I set Hirens Rescue CD in a Press Boot from Hard disk the computer boots up.

It looks like you have a intense boot sector and the Windows boot loader can't detect the correct partition or something. attempt booting from the windows Vista DVD and choosing Startup Repair. hope that auto fixes the problem.

I Have attempted That the windows Vista Repair Disc But unluckily I don't have a computer disc to do a file repair .

Are you capable to boot into the recovery console from the repair disc? If so, succeed this direct to repair the boot loader from the command prompt. I have done this before and can sanction that it works, if it is the MBR that is the problem.
