The UAC (User Account Control) has got to be one of the first things you notice when you move to Windows Vista. A prompt that asked you if you are sure you want to "continue", when you clicked on the program to tweak your system. That irritant might have been streamlined in Vista's Ser¬vice Pack 1, but it still isn't going away anytime soon.
Its restrictions prevent you from even copying and pasting clipboard data from "elevated" applications to a non-privileged one. If you install and remove many applications in a day, you'd need to click "continue" multiple times. But you do not necessarily have to bear with the problems of run¬ning within the confines of UAC. One solution is TweakUAC, which allows you to turn off UAC entire¬ly. It can optionally leave UAC on, but suppress ele¬vation prompts for admin¬istrators alone, leaving them unprotected.
