    Default Upgrade consequence in vista.

    Hi,
    I have Windows XP in my laptop. Correct at present I am designing to set up windows vista on my organization .Can I upgrade from Windows XP to a 64-bit edition of Windows Vista If potential please give me right answer to how to set up 64-bit edition of vista.

    If you have Windows XP and x64, you agree to promote to Windows Vista 64-bit. Although, if you are promoting from a 64-bit Windows Vista, you must use the promote disc to perform a clean installation of Windows, even if you have Windows XP x64 Edition - you can not actually do the upgrade . In other words, is owned by Windows XP, you can purchase a discounted upgrade version of Windows Vista 64-bit, but you can not actually use the disk to promote to 64-bit to upgrade - you must perform a clean set up .
