Thread: No more support for Creative Webcam Live on Vista.

After interpretation the characteristic guide proposed for webcams that will have Vista drivers available, I am real disturb to get that the Creative Webcam Live will not have an modified driver for vista. This is very disappointing. I am having the Vista set up in my computer and so I am in the defend that something must be done in order to modify the driver. If this continues then they will definitely becoming to lose their loyal customers.

Only asking that where did you read that they would not modify their drivers for Vista? Given the reality we (windows users) will all moves to Vista 1 day or some other. And if it is true what you are telling then it would be a form of the stupid matter to not to supply correct drivers. I am certain that they will do something for this and create it available. We only require huge user support for this matter.

I have attempted the method observed here to set up the Creative Webcam sight, but with no luck. The XP driver isntalls, but then the device comes out as Creative WebCam sight (Composite) with the following device condition: This device cannot beginning. (Code 10). I for 1 am tired of Creative devices that are no-longer defended with drivers for modern OS. Seriously, it's a USB webcam. How hard can it be? I am voting with my wallet, and will no longer subsidize this outfit. I only bought a nice Microsoft webcam, and am identical happy with my Vistax64 driver defend.
