Task barred

The Windows Taskbar makes it easy to switch between active applications but it can get in the way. To make it disappear, right¬click on an empty part of the screen and select Properties from the pop-up menu.

In the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties dialogue box, click the Taskbar tab and then tick 'Auto-hide the Taskbar'. Click OK and the Taskbar will disappear. However, move the mouse pointer to the bottom of the screen and the Taskbar will show itself; move the point away, and it disappears again.
