Default HP Product Assistant.msi is neglecting

I HPG60 notebook where I have Windows Vista on my laptop. My laptop operated nice. In new days, I am tackling a trouble with my laptop. Now my laptop is the content that says "Installing the product package HPProductAssitant can not be determined. Try the set up again utilize a valid copy of the set up package HP Product Assistant.msi '" I tried to defeat this trouble, but I am not getting any solution. Please propose me a solution.

I guess you should try to defeat this trouble by system restore point for your laptop. If you have maked a system restore point earlier then you require to do system restore in your laptop, and after that your trouble can be defeat. Just try this solution, and after that check if the similar trouble happens or not. I think after trying this solution, your trouble would be solved.

The problem you faced in your laptop hp product assistant.msi is due to the missing file and if we want to solve this problem, you must copy this file to your laptop and then you will not get the same problem on his laptop. You can copy this file on the CD that comes with the laptop. Simply insert the CD and after the registration hpproductassistant.msi restore your laptop. If you want more information let me know.

Yes I agree with the previous post, I was facing the same problem on my HP laptop and after inserting the HP software CD. Now, after performing the Windows Explorer, click the Windows Start button and then explore the HP software CD. Now, after you go to the installation folder and then the file hpproductassistant.msi well and double-click on it, now going to install the missing file and not have this problem with your laptop.

As you said, I can solve this problem by setting the HP software CD and the recovery files hpproductassistant.msi, but I have the HP software CD. Now tell me, what should I do to remedy the situation. There is another way to restore this file? Any chance of having problems with my operating system? If someone has a solution to this so please help me. Any help is welcome.

Yes, you can create this file by downloading from the Internet, you must first go to the official website of HP, and after you choose the software and driver downloads, and after that you have to put the product name or product number and it will allow you to download the driver. Now, after doing so, you have the option Full version software and drivers download. Now, after downloading, double click the file, and after that when you see during installation at a time, press Exit.
