Thread: Windows updates for not utilized computer programs

Utilizing Vista Business. I get and download Windows updates minus any trouble still, I have above 40 updates for programs I have ne'er utilized nor had on my machine, ie: Word 2010. How can I erase this list and not obtain the notice that an update is present for programs I don't have nor require? I'm hoping there is a easy solution. Thanks for any assist.

Easy right click and take hide update. they may pop up later on that a some see once again but if you continue clicking and hiding those updates it will become into the optional list. though it is highly suggeasted to keep all bit of your pc updated

Thanks, seem like your idea operated, at least I don't require to appear at the list anymore. It yet make no sense to me that I obtain an update for a program I don't have but that's OK.thanks again

Yes you are true there are many bugs in windows vista, you can try windows 7 it's much more best than window vista and even if you want to continue with vista then use windows update downloader and then install latest updates the problem would be solved.
