Banalneyshaya situation: you forget your password for your account and can no longer boot Windows Vista. What to do? One possible solution - reset / password change through pre-(long before you forget your password, and not after the fact!) Created floppy recovery / reset the password.

Creating a recovery floppy / password reset

Click Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts;
-- in the User Accounts window, select your account;
-- Tasks section, click Create a password recovery diskettes;
-- in 'Master forgotten passwords click Next;
-- Creating a window in the next floppy password reset in the drop-down list should be created floppy password key device in the next -> select the device (floppy disk drive, USB or other removable disk) -> Next;
-- enter a password current account (if the account does not have a password, leave blank) -> Next;
-- wait until create master disc -> click Next;
-- Completion of the wizard window appears with the message forgotten passwords reset diskette successfully created a password for this account. All previously created by the use of diskettes are final. Check this floppy disc as "dumping" password and store it in a safe place.
-- to close the wizard, click Finish.

How to use a diskette recovery / password reset

When you log in below Password fields (which you "safely" forgotten), click Change Password ...
-- Master password reset start -> click Next;
-- insert the floppy password reset (Kingston / removable disk);
-- from the drop-down list, select the floppy password reset (Kingston / removable disk) -> click Next;
-- in the next window, enter and confirm the new password (if you want to change the password) or leave the fields blank (if you want to reset the password) -> click Finish;
-- please login.

Notes

1. Master creates forgotten passwords on diskette (fleshke / removable disk) userkey.psw file (~ 1.50 KB). With this file, and subsequently being reset / forgotten password change.
2. In the process of setting up Windows XP password reset diskette is somewhat different.
