Thread: Can I have the date exhibited on the taskbar

I recognize that in vista (or any edition of windows) you can have the time exhibited in the lower right hand corner of the machine, on the taskbar. I don't really require it. Rather, I would like to have the day's date on the taskbar something like that. Anyone recognize of any software (vista or xp; I'll try both) that could do this? Thank you.

TClock Lite(freeware) is capable of performing this under any edition of Windows, adding Vista, and is amply customizable. The only catch is that clicking on the clock will no longer display the Vista calender.Hope this assists.

That didn't work (I'm operating 64 bit windows, which may or may not be the cause) but I will try it once again later. If anybody else recognizes of any other ways to do this, I would actually appreciate it. I only want I were as utilize as John Wilkinson in the Cnet forums..Thanks.

There's one other free clock replacement app I recognize if that's of decent quality...Free Desktop Clock. It's not almost as customizable, but it is certified simpatico with Vista, unlike my former idea. (Though I have both successfully operating below Vista 32-bit.) Download a fresh copy, extract the workable from the ZIP directory, and give it a shot.Hope this assist.
